Thats not exactly fair those guys were solid especially my boys Liles and Benn. McCallum was still elite at 40 years old, but he was never a one punch ko artist. Hill: so so, Dont know much about Hall, who did he beat?

some of those guys lost to lesser opposition, some of them (eubank) openly ducked him and honestly jones wouldnt ever be able to beat a huge heavyweight like vitali or lennox

I wouldn't call Ruiz a puncher, but he was so much bigger his punches moved Roy's body. I'd say thats worse than going up against a puncher in your own weight.

True, especially at that time. Had roy fought Benn, it would of been like Pac beating washed up De la Hoya.

Benn was clearly finished after the McClellan no doubt, but I dont think it would be that one sided, he still would of had a punchers chance to land something big.

They could punch, sure. But I wouldnt call them punchers in the same ilk of Benn, McClellan or Julian Jackson.

I don't think he's ever avoided anyone. It was just timing and money. I mean how can someone actually know that they don't have a chin. He probably always thought he was unknockoutable or whatever the song is.
