jeff lacy was a shot puncher.. but a puncher style fighter non the less.. trinidad also.. but shot. nd if he did fight any punchers they werent any that stood out. danny green was one but i heard he hand wrapped wrongly so im not so sure if that ko shouldve counted. james "lights out" toney. it was his nickname for a reason

Toney isnt on the same level as the guys I listed, compare his fight with Barkley to Benns fight with Barkley for example. He wore you down then koed you.

Thanks, style wise that would of been a great fight imo. Eubank did still offer him a fight but Jones said Eubank is no good too me after losing to Collins twice.

168 was such a great weight and when Jones got there they were almost all gone. Wish he got there earlier, there were so many good possible matchups

Benn was finished really by mid 95
Liles, Nunn and Collins were still viable opponents from end of 1994-1996

Those are just words. There was never any negotiating between Jones and Lewis. No way could Muhammad come up with 25 million to pay Lewis, either.
