Maybe he just wasnt too eager to find out.

he didn't avoid any of them except for maybe the heavyweights but you can't really blame him. the non-hw big punchers on that list would have gotten schooled by jones... and they are the ones who avoided him, some of them even admitted it.

Toney could get you out with one punch at that weight. Did you ever watch his fights with Nunn, Prince Charles Williams, or Tim Littles? Or even his cruiserweight fight with Jirov? He certainly punched harder than Eubanks or Liles that you listed. And critisizing Jones for not fighting the Klitschko's or Lewis is just ******.

I think timing had a lot to do with it, when he got to 168 all the british fighters were fighting each other, Benn, Eubank, Collins and Thompson. That is where the real challenges were. After a fight in the interview they had informed him that Eubank had lost and you can see the dissapointment in his face cause a big financial fight was lost.

Steve Collins went and beat Eubank and Benn twice a piece. Sosa had good fights(with KO's) and one of his fights had a double KO cause the ref ruled it to brutal to continue. Talesco has always been a heavy puncher and Castro on that time was alos a puncher. Toney when they fought had one punch KO in that era.

But they were no KO artist but McClellan and we know his story in why these two never met in the ring
