No OST for Hop-Jones. Who cares?

And it took a possibly roided up individual who threatened Mayweather's precious "0" for him to appeal for OST...that says a lot about Mayweather choosing opponents.Comment

I don't care who holds what opinion about Floyd's resume. I don't care about who likes or dislikes Floyd. I don't care about Floyd's motivation for proposing OST's. All of that is irrelevant. Regardless of the above, his proposal is good for boxing, and it's made noise.Comment

Whats the difference since I created the thread?
That may be because Floyd and Pac are the fighters with the biggest fan bases on these boards, and the only fighters casual fans care to watch.
Lol, now YOU speak for all the "casual" fans? Lmao!!
There's a number of reasons, some of which are obvious. Implementing OST's in the Jones Jr. vs Hopkins fight will do nothing for boxing. It isn't a big enough fight, nor are their stars currently bright enough to make such a tremendous change in boxing. Due to his popularity, Floyds request have actually gotten the wheels turning in the right direction, nobody cares about Jones Jr. and Hopkins, thus OST's in their fight wouldn't create any ripples.
This is exactly why I consider you a nuthugging hypocrite. Jones-Hopkins is a high profile fight many "casual" fans will watch. There are as many and more questions that can surround these fighters than Pac. For you to think OST would do nothing shows me just how much you don't care outside of Pac-Floyd. ANY advanced testing or pressure for it, no matter how big or small the fight, is good for the sport and a step in the right direction. You obviously don't care though so hey, screw it, right?Comment

Mosely threatens Floyds 0, yet he's fighting him on Mat 1st.

No, what Floyd is indirectly doing is great--but please don't say it's because he cares about the sport---he cares about not ruining his record. I applaud him regardless for the act.Last edited by rao007; 03-24-2010, 04:55 PM.Comment

OST's in this fight wouldn't do anything for boxing, and you and I know both know it.
Again Jab, I can speak for myself.Comment

Mosley does not threaten Mayweather---even his daddy doesn't think so--Mosley doesn't have the legs anymore.

I'm not going to speak as if I know either way. It doesn't matter to me. What matters is that it's a positive for boxing.Comment

If you think Jones-Hopkins is a "high profile fight", you're ******ed. Plain and simple. Most people, including a lot of boxing fans, don't even know this fight is next weekend.

Why cant it help boxing? I thought Floyd trolls want to clean boxing and I thought it is the time for steroid free era ****?
