The numbers are impressive IMO however 1 million people paid to watch floyd fight a lightweight which was largely considered a tune-up/joke bout by people, whats more impressive is it was going head to head with a UFC PPV Event.

Mayweather-Mosley easily doubles 700,000 pay per views. Prediction for Mayweather-Mosley PPVs: 1.5-1.7 million buys
    4. Pacquiao is cheating and untested :P. If he retires when the rules are updated I swear I won't even rank him as an ATG. Maybe he can go in the Calzaghe ATG list as the #2.

Well Marquez is not really a PPV Fighter but he does well in the live gate...Marquez has fought both Pacquiao and Mayweather and those PPVs were successful but Marquez was never the A-side of those PPVs, infact the only time when he was in the A-side of a PPV he did 100,000 buys against Casamayor (Another name) meaning even with a dance partner Marquez could do 100K max.

Just saying Mayweather-Marquez did impressive numbers (1 million) considering they were going head-to-head against a major UFC Event and the fight itself according to many was considered as a tune-up/joke bout against a blown up lightweight (things got worst when floyd weighed 146 lbs). People here were predicting it would do under 400k
