dlh rolled the dice and lost but dont make it seem like pac fought a live opponent in DLH or close too

dlh was completely dead so i dont see how anyone considers his defeat over DLH any good.

but pac fans dont care what condition fighters are in against pac
it wasn't roach not accepting the fight above 147 that prevented it from being fought above 150... it was dlh's remaining pride and dignity (and the fact that no one would watch that circus) that stopped him from fighting a lightweight above 150...

But I can not agree what Lampley and Steward were saying in the end of the fight. I like Pacquiao but the fact is in his fight he made demands like the catchweight for the Cotto , De la Hoya fight and nobody criticise him for that. I mean he is great but I would not say he is great like Ali,Sugar Ray Robinson , Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler, Tyson. Manny did not want to fight Mosley, he did not give Marquez a third fight and what is the worst thing is the catchweight. I can imagine that Pacman beat even stop Floyd but I do not accept his demands for his fights every pound 10 Million $ as a sort of punishment or the catchweight clause . Much worse is that nobody mentions that things. Do not get me wrong I love Pacman's fighting style but I just want euquality. What do you guys think of that ?
Pacquiao made no weight demands for Oscar. He was in no position to do such a thing.

And Cotto was fine with the weight.

        Pre-fight:

"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.

"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.

        Post-fight:

"I felt really good at that weight. It wasn't a problem for me."

As for the "demands" he put on Mayweather for coming in overweight, it's neither here nor there because Floyd has never failed to make 147. Non-issue.

There is no point in dis*****g Manny weight issues in these threads. When Manny went up in weight these same ppl were saying that Manny was dehydrating himself to make weight at 130 and 135lbs. But when you look at the 2nd and 3rd fight with Morales they made Morales come down in weight. It seems that the weight argument will always is going to be adjusted to the hardcore Manny fans in his favor.

S A M U R A I Pacman is a great fighter I like his style footwork etc but why making a catch weight term for Cotto , why for Mayweather. In the Clottey fight they knew that Clottey could not hit him. If you watch the Cotto Mosley fight or Cotto Judah fight you will see that Cotto looks so strong. In the 24/7 Cotto Pacquiao Cotto had problems to make the weight. Please just be real.

I don't get why Manny catches so much flak for 1 catchweight fight. Cotto looked to be in the best shape he's ever been in and had no excuses at the end of the fight.
hatton and cotto fight almost fell apart because of negotiations and the floyd fight did fall apart.i always thought bernard was overrated because almost every top fighter he has fought was a smaller man than him

OK that Cotto fight catch weight wasn't necesary when we look back, but Cotto was already 146 VS Clottey and few months before. Infact he never looked as good to me.

The Oscatr fight was not his demand. Oscar chose that weight...

Remember Pac only fought at 135. How do you expect him to go from that to 154?

Dude, for the last time, Manny didn't ask Mayweather for any catchweight. Their fight would've been at the 147lbs WW limit. Why do you keep repeating that Manny asked Floyd for a catchweight.
