But I can not agree what Lampley and Steward were saying in the end of the fight. I like Pacquiao but the fact is in his fight he made demands like the catchweight for the Cotto , De la Hoya fight and nobody criticise him for that. I mean he is great but I would not say he is great like Ali,Sugar Ray Robinson , Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler, Tyson. Manny did not want to fight Mosley, he did not give Marquez a third fight and what is the worst thing is the catchweight. I can imagine that Pacman beat even stop Floyd but I do not accept his demands for his fights every pound 10 Million $ as a sort of punishment or the catchweight clause . Much worse is that nobody mentions that things. Do not get me wrong I love Pacman's fighting style but I just want euquality. What do you guys think of that ?
Very good point mate, Pacquiao has fought some great NAMES not great fighters, the night they are in the ring..........

Second, Manny didn't ask Floyd for a catchweight, but i do agree that the $10 million weight penalty is BS.
Third, the catchweight for Cotto is not that terrible since Cotto himself said that 145lbs is a normal weight for him and he agreed to it.
Fourth, not too sure about this, but i thought there was a catchweight between Surgar Ray and Hagler.
Fifth, catchweight has been around before Manny and Floyd were ever born. Nothing new about it and it's not controversial as long as both fighters agree.
Ray Leonaerd-Hagler didn't have a catchweight but Leonard demanded a bigger ring and 12 roudns instead of 15 rounds.

Leonard did have a catch-weight against Lalonde at 168. And, Leonard won both the 168lb title and the 175lb title in the same fight.

I did not say that I said De la Hoya had to make the weight and I thought the clause came from Pacmans side I mean Freddie Roach who never gave his opponents a weight advantage.

LOL I never said that . I just said that Pacquiaos side Roach made a catchweight for the Cotto fight because he do not want to give somebody any advantage. And there was a catchweight for the De la Hoya fight.

No there wasn't, it was a fight at 147, welterweight, that De La Hoya wanted to fight at and was already making his way down to that weight, fighting at a 150lb catchweight with Forbes before that fight (or at least that's what I remember). And it wasn't Pac that wanted it at that weight either

at the same time, there wouldnt have been a fight if DLh would have said to fight anywhere in the 150 range.

pac didnt make demands but roach surely wouldnt have accepted the fight if it wasnt at 147. he knew DLH would be dead in the ring after making 147

dlh rolled the dice and lost but dont make it seem like pac fought a live opponent in DLH or close too

dlh was completely dead so i dont see how anyone considers his defeat over DLH any good.

but pac fans dont care what condition fighters are in against pac

I'm almost sure that their fight was a WW fight, because Hagler was a middle weight.

If i remember correctly, DLH came in the ring at fight night below 145lbs, probably 141lbs. He did not re-hydrated and was completely out of gas by the 6th round. Do you honestly can say that was Manny's fault? Does it somehow tarnish Manny's win against DLH, some would say yes because of DLH's own doing. But just remember that when this fight was announced at the weight that was agreed upon, people criticized the fight and everyone said that it was a huge mismatch base on DLH size and height. DLH is 5'10 vs Manny at 5'6. So to say that Manny's win over DLH is not good is a bit ridiculous and sour g****s IMO. I can agree that it wasn't great base on DLH's condition, but that's like saying if Mosley beats Floyd because Floyd didn't sleep all night prior to the fight, that Mosley's win is not valid nor is it good. That's just silly and ****** IMO.
