This idiot probably thinks american football is the football I'm refering toBULL CRAP.
You mean to tell me willie pep, benny leonard, midget wolgast, barney ross, could have played football? You mean to tell me they had right height & physicality to play football?
what are most white people's position in football? quarterbacks & linemen.
The prototypical height for a quarterback is 6'3. for a line man 6 feet 300 lbs & up. You mean to tell me there are white football players of that stature that could have been featherweights, bantamweights, & lightweights?
WRONG TRY AGAIN.

Most WW boxers are 5'9", 5'10" and come into the ring at 160 pounds, probably walk around about 170, 175.
Which is to say, bigger than this guy, who just might be the greatest soccer player in the world.

There are alot of baseball players smaller than that. Also I never said they all are but baseball, soccer, extreme sports and UFC is what's hot amongst young whites in america. Boxing is the last thing on thier mind which is why you see less and less in the sport. I also forgot Hockey btw.
In reality, Boxing is a poor mans sport. If you look at those guys nationalities and their countrymens plight in american at the time, you realize that these guys all came from economically depressed cultures.
The Irish, Italians, ***s and others immigrants in the U.S. at the time were ****ty on, denied access to certain jobs, forced into bad living conditions and a lot of them took up boxing as a way to elevate themselves up at the time.Comment

There never were a lot of good white (or black) flyweights. There are very few healthy white dudes who weight less than 112 pounds.
There are some good white fighters from 115 up to super featherweight: Vic Darchinyan, Kevin Mitchell and Vitali Tajbert come to mind.
Featherweight Vasyl Lomachenko is arguably the #1 p4p amateur boxer in the world, he was selected the best fighter in any weight class in the 2008 Olympics.Comment
