I am going to have to disagree, we would not know how tough Lebron would be, or if he would have a chin, or would he have, could he dig deep... You play basketball you don't play boxing. Just cuz he athletic don't mean a damn thing. He could of been another Michael Grant.

I was just about to use the Michael Grant analogy. We also don't know if he could hit hard etc....and watching Lebron play, you can tell he depends entirely too much on his athletic ability to get by (compared to Kobe who dominates with skills)

That alone would tells me Lebron would struggle, because basketball is the one sport were you can get by on athletic ability alone. In boxing that **** isn't enough to compete at the highest level.....as seen by guys like Judah and Michael Grant being exposed.

Correct me if im wrong but wasnt kingpin almost 250 ibs and with a bigger reach than vitali? He was also 6'3" which is not a bad height for a heavy but look at how he did. There have been countless fights in the past where fighters have overcome a few inches height disadvantage to win, its a bit lame saying well this guy is just too tall i wont win imo

No doubt that the NBA has really taken a lot of the talent from the heavyweight division. Not sure if Lebron would do well because it's not a given for people to dismiss him because the NBA is soft or has no heart is dumb. When you see a NBA brawl, sure it looks like **** but those guys aren't fighters, they are ballers. Don't you think if they were training in fighting at a young age instead of balling they would be completely different fighters? There is no doubt that the skills that a lot of high profile basketball players have would transfer over to boxing(size, speed, hand and eye cord., etc.).

Truth be told the basketball player that would make for the best HW is Charles Oakley. He had the whole league shook back then, and the stories on him beating and punking out other players are classic. Oak was like the "Debo" of the NBA.
