I, and I'm sure, many others do not believe that Mayweather, with his HUGE ego would "pretend" to be ******. Oh NO, it's completely against his modus operandi. He spends most of his airtime trying to show that HE's brilliant, and everyone else is ******. We must accept this at face value.

And don't forget, the guys been very short of money lately, and needed a big payday, which makes his refusal to fight Manny P. unless he took tests not required by any boxing commission, all the more strange. Unless he really didn't want to fight him.

Whichever it was, I couldn't care less, the "prima donna" syndrome is otherwise laughable.

Floyd only had one request. And that was random drug tests; the same tests that Floyd and Shane will go through. Now who is the other welterweight on my list?
I would think that the main reason to fight Cotto had to have something to do with promoter politics there, since they were both run by the same promoter, and Cotto was regarded as a real killer. And Mosley was a Golden Boy guy, and also Cotto had beaten Mosley by UD. If Mosley had starved himself down to 142, and lost, that would not have been a success that Manny P. could be proud of- quite the contrary.

At least it sounds logical and reasonable to me.

Probably because Arum, having them both under contract, can make these matches far easier than any other fights. Also there has been, in the past, much talk of matching Valero and Manny P. They were to have fought in Macau, but the arena was either not ready or not large enough, I don't recall which.

I hate when people say Floyd ducks certain welterweights and cherry picks his opponents first of all the their are no great welterweights Cotto is not a great fighter Margarito is not a great fighter Shane Mosley is the only one great welterweight and Money Mayweather is fighting him

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is claiming that he is the best boxers and the pound for pound king. Shane Mosley is claiming that he is the best & the champion in the welterweight division.

Unfortunately though, Manny Pacquiao is the recognize Pound for Pound King, the first to attain the 7th Weight division champion, and the reigning WBO welterweight champion. These two monkeys should fight first Manny Pacquiao. While Manny Pacquiao was being humble about his achievements... here comes the two Braggarts.

floyd doesnt have the balls to trade words with shane in a dark alley by himself.

He only trades words & acts tough when the cameras are rolling & the payroll goons are backing him up.

I never met any ****** person who made 50 Million in 2 fights so sorry,
not buying what your trying to sell me. Also, if Mayweather was so
light on cash like you say, why would he demand a drug test that he
knew Pac wouldn't take on purpose and risk making $ off of the
biggest fight in the sport of boxing right now? I just feel a lot of
people try to make things up to discredit Floyd Mayweather Jr but it
clearly doesn't make sense. Actually, he spends most of his airtime
selling a fight and is very successful doing it.
