every boring fight can be blamed on one , the other or both.

you can't just say if the fight is boring it's the winner's fault or the loser's.

    each fight is different.

Right, I get this. We're generalizing here. And MOST OF THE TIME, it's the losers fault.

If you pay to watch a basketball game and one team is far better than the other. So, they do enough to win, takes easy shots and cruises to a victory. It's the other teams fault for sucking. They should have played better.

You can make a claim that the other team should just light the other team up. But.. what for? Take wild shots, and give the other team a chance to get some turn overs and actually make that favored team look bad?

        Sounds foolish.
tried harder what? Oscar tried to force floyd into a fight, and You told us floyd potshotted and ran. Hardly exciting, but like you said, he "did what he had to do" . Did that make the fight more exciting by floyd doing that, or less exciting. This will require a yes or no answer.

No. Did it make the fight exciting with that Oscar got nothing done and didn't force Floyd to fight more?

          Yes or no.

And since I know that if you're being honest, that answer will be 'No'. I will continue with this. Floyd won, what did Oscar do?

Im confused, because teh title of your thread is, "if the fight is boring blame the loser"

Yet you admitted floyd did not help with him potshotting and running.

Oscar tried, ill give him that. And YES, he made it more exciting. IF he wouldve done nothing then it would have even been more boring. Again, who won the fight and whose to blame for the fight being boring?

He may or may not have stamina problems. He hasn't recently. Regardless, he has to keep that in mind. He has to be cautious of that. Regardless, he threw a lot of punches in there. He did what he had to do and then he put him to sleep. Keep this in mind, he had a SHUT OUT on virtually everyones scorecard. He didn't NEED to do that in the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th round. But he did. That is spirited. That is lively. If Chambers doesn't go down right away, or leave the openings, what is he supposed to do? Throw punches like crazy, still not land, get tired and lose to someone that he's able to toy with?

              That's foolish.

He's not boring, he's simply too damn good.

Blame the LOSER. He's the one who lacked. Blaming someone for winning is like blaming someone with charm for getting better girls than you do.

You're the one lacking, you're to blame.

Exactly. Didn't need to hunt the KO to please the fans. He could've pulled a B-hop and be satisfied with a huge UD.

Any fight can be boring but it's not always the loser fault. Fight that are won by one fighter being far supior then the other, seem boring to some becuase their is no back and fourth action. When a fight become into that type of fight, I stop execpting it to be back and fourth and starting watching how the supior fighter is albe to break his opponent down. So I still find it to be somewhat exicting.

What about fights like Taylor/Froach, a fight where by all count he was winning, then in the last round when he got KO or a fight like P.Magili and J.Diaz where Paulie won the fight in the eyes of people who saw the fight but the judges saw it the other way and robbed the real winner of the fight.

I tried to come up with something smart to say to end my statement but I got nothing.
