This is why I find it funny when Pacquiao fanboys defend Bob Arum because he is associated with Pacquiao and doesn't like Mayweather.
The guy is a scum bag, it's clear as day why he's putting Pacquiao in with his own fighters. One to keep the money, two to eventually throw Pacquiao to the wolves so he can hype up his new star.
Really speaking Pacquiao should buy his contract out, there's no need for him to have one now he's in a situation where his name can generate a fight.

Why cant Pac go it alone? Why cant Cotto go it alone? These two guy are establish stars already and HBO would work with them directly without the need for a promoter like King or Arum, They could both use an independent promoter and they would make more money and there would be more attractive options open to them instead of been stucked to fighting Arum fighters.

Filipino's values too much the "utang na loob" or debt of gratitude that's probably why Manny does not want to cut ties with Arum.
I can understand loyalty to his trainers but his gratitude to Arum makes about as much sense as someone showing gratitude to their employer at Wallmart.
