I don't see this as an era defining fight, however it should be a very good match up and beyond that there are other career/era defining fights for Mayweather in the future, provided he makes the right boxing choices and puts the "most money least risk" formula aside, which has come to define his career since 2004.

Again this is a very good match up, but Mosley is 38 and at times he can summon greatness and other times he appears a little above average. I hope the great Mosley shows up, if that happens then maybe this fight will come to define who Floyd really is.

If that's the case then why wouldn't Pacquiao agree? exactly

Maybe they should tell Pacquiao how to pass the test. So that coward will agree to take them. And if they don't catch anything why is Pacquiao so afraid? Shut up you're just a serious hater. Mad cause your boy isn't being praised and Mayweather is being praised instead. If this looks good for Mayweather then it looks BAD for Pacroid!!

That was sarcasm from p4p305, The man is for testing unlike a lot of Pac fans/posters on here.

thats how i feel, other than the fact that i think the olympic style testing is a joke and a distraction.

although, if there was a fighter to test, and i hate to say this because i'm a huge fan, but mosley is a guy that has had some controversy with balco, so i can understand that, but the witch hunt on pacquiao i think was out of line.

You bring up Mosley's age but remember he's the one who got in the ring and called Floyd out not the other way around. Floyd said in an interview in November that if he fights Mosley and beats him everyone is gonna say Mosley is too old or over the hill. Floyd saw you guys comin from a mile away. So if he doesn't fight Mosley then he's scared of Mosley and he's duckin him. But if he does fight him and beats him then mosley is too old and over the hill. Floyd can't win with you guys. It's sickening. And you call yourselves "boxing fans" yeah right. And if Mosley is soo old then why the hell did Pacquiao duck him twice. And use the formula you say Floyd has been using in "most money least risk" by picking Cotto instead of Mosley?

It's a process and the process begins with Mosley. Mayweather provided that he wins has many choices in front of him, from fights at 154 to facing the young guns at jr.welter, if he refuses those options and instead opts for names like Matthew Hatton then he deserves the criticism. ALL THE CRITICISM GOES AWAY DEPENDING ON HIS CHOICES FROM HERE ON OUT AND MOSLEY IS A HELL OF A FIRST STEP.
