Great day for boxing and great to see two elite boxer trying to move the sport forward in terms of making it known that they are clean during and after training camp... It has to start somewhere and someone has to start it and am glad two of the best boxers in the world have start the process. Kudos to Mayweather and Mosley.Comment

I disagree. They should follow the regular commissioner drug testing procedure, the USADA is inaccurate and won't catch anything. Floyd and Mosley doesn't deserved any credits. They both cheated in the past, and they know how to pass that random drug test easily.Great day for boxing and great to see two elite boxer trying to move the sport forward in terms of making it known that they are clean during and after training camp... Balco put out that Mosley used their products and Mosley confessed to it as well. How is that great for the sport of boxing when you have someone who has confessed to using PED's?Great day for boxing and great to see two elite boxer trying to move the sport forward in terms of making it known that they are clean during and after training camp... So its ok that Shane used PED's in the past but its not okay that Pac used it even though their is no proof he has.Comment

No one is judging anyone (at least some of the *****s are), but the point of all this is that Floyd just like Manny has never tested positive for steroids, and he's willing to participating in taking a more accurate drug test. Mosley made a mistake in the past, and now he's taking a step forward to be a better athlete. He doesn't want anyone to be su****ious/accusing him of being a steroid user anymore, and taking that random blood test is a positive thing for his image as an athlete.Balco put out that Mosley used their products and Mosley confessed to it as well. Mosley wasnt caught by the normal standard test so according to that standard test you have NO prove, They are now going through one of the best testing procedure around so yes Kudos to both boxers.Last edited by Ray*; 03-18-2010, 05:13 PM.Comment

Your right. But at the same time they aren't trotting around claiming they're using the "gold standard". Like I said, its a dog and pony show until they incorporate true WADA year round testing. A step in the right direction though.Comment

It even makes more sense a boxer that admitted using PED's and is testing now for PED's in his next big fight.
Mosley never tested positive, he confess in a hearing. No matter how many times or where he got tested it went undetectedComment
