This is the backlash for him not fighting Mayweather and turning down the drug test.

It only get's worst from here.
This tells me Pacquiao is not on the Tyson Level when it comes to being an Attraction.
Furthermore if this fight didnt hit 800k
Pacquiao might as well drug test if he wants to fight Floyd,
because he just lost all leverage.
Especially when Mayweather on May 1st beats every PPV pacquiao ever been in...

Who the hell said Pac sold it by himself?

The PPV's included PRican PPV numbers... which was about 300k from memory?

Who the hell thought this fight was going to hit over 800k?

Clottey has not even had 1 PPV and there was no 24/7.

          The promotion was very small.

At least 850-950K in totality. Pac is becoming the face of boxing now, people tune in just to see him in action. He tries to put on the kinds of performances that the fans love (in general....non stop punching and aggression and speed). This fight would have done crazy numbers had there been some trash talking between the two guys and a 24/7 been provided. It won't do as well as May/Mosley but it will be near 1 million buys still.

I think that's good logic but unfortunately, not everyone likes it when it's applied universally.

                ie. Pac-DLH against Mayweather-DLH; Mayweather-Marquez against Pac-Marquez, Pac-Hatton against Mayweather-Hatton...get my drift?

if it did 700k, that would be impressive. i don't think it does that. i'm thinking around 600,000 which is still very good. TR didn't do a good job promoting and the Floyd/Mosley press conf. was covered massively by the press. so if it does 700k, that's pretty good!

Yeah........Pac/Mosley would utterly destroy May/Mosley..........even now, that is becoming the fight people are starting to talk about.
