I dissagree. Pac doing huge numbers only makes the 50-50 split that much bigger for May and Pac. Floyd doesnt want Pac to do bad because that would mean Floyd loses money when they fight. Mosley-Floyd will wipe that out anyway so its a moot point.

The more buys Pac does means the more money they can amke together. Thats common sense. Floyd is praying Pac did good.

But, both are big ego maniacs Burner. And, I am not mistaken Floyd camp already said if they do more with PPV buys with Shane than Pac did with Clottey. Floyd will ask for a bigger split. Pac being the diva that he is won't go for that.

For the split to work out Floyd has to do better numbers but not that much better.

if he was really just as big of a draw as floyd..this fight should do at least 800k

floyd did 1 mil with marquez....

also...i remember bob arum saying that the estimate for cotto fight was 1.6 mil right?.. and it actually turned out to be 1.25 mil..which is VERY damn good

Arum made an unbelievably half assed effort at promoting this fight,not to mention GBP's spoiler with the Mosley/Floyd promotional drive. Anything above 750k must be considered an amazing success.

I don't think so personally... I think both sides realize it's a 50-50 fight.

I mean steroid testing aside, they both DO want the fight, and I think they both realize either side isn't taking less than 50-50.
