Joshua Clottey is a disgrace to boxing

He proberbly needed a knockout to win anyway

but he could have at least tried.

You dont want to watch boxing to see a guy just stand there with his gloves up hiding for 12 rounds. He would have at least tried to win

lol, I didnt know someone already posted it.

Anyways, My point is why would you just go into a fight without even trying to win? It just defeats the whole object of the fight and makes a mockery of the people who bought the PPV

Its his boxing style so I don't blame him. He is a defensive genius like Floyd.

Personally I think he was paid to lay down. I never saw a boxer who was scared of getting KO'd before. If he really is that chicken though he should retire. He's embarrassing Africans everywhere with that garbage.

Yh, I seen like veteren fighters fighting defensively and not really trying but this was a huge fight. "The Event" supposedly and one of the guys was just there to get a payday. I never want to see Clottey get a big fight again, It's not his style. I have no problem with defensive boxers like Floyd and Winky Wright doing what they have to do but its totally different when a guy goes in there and does nothing at all other than hide behind his gloves.

And its takes away even more credibility from Pacquiao because Clottey didnt even try to win. There was no way he tried to win the fight which makes it very boring.

Then you obviously haven't watched many fights.

Lots of boxers fight just to survive. The problem is that most of them wait until the last 2-3 rounds, whereas Clottey fought that way from the opening bell.

typical pacman haters trying to ***** about manny's opponents.fact is,clottey didn't want to risk getting ko'd coz that would have happened easily.manny was way too fast for him landing body shots at will and taking the piss tbh.
