because when ctoo beats foreman, cotto will be wba 154lbs champ, the only 2 other 'big' names at 154 is paul williams or martinez. if he fights martinez ppl will say hes duking williams, or he could just fight williams

I honestly see Cotto and Winky Wright fighting some time in the future if Winky signs with Top Rank and can make 154. Cotto would probably lose, but it's not like Wright would give him the kind of beatings that Pac and Margarito did.

If he takes the WBA from foreman. they might force him to fight a mandatory.

Cotto is going for a 3rd title in a 3rd weight class. That doesn't mean he plans on campaigning full time at 154.

If he wins he's going to wanna go out on a big fight. Probably a 2nd Mosley fight. Williams isn't a huge fight.

Cotto would not....I repeat, NOT be ducking Williams. Unless he fights some bum. Then to hell with him.

What if Mosley suffers a one-sided loss to Floyd? Would you still consider Mosley-Cotto 2 a big fight? It would be similar to Vargas-Mayorga then. If Cotto can get back to his winning ways, then there's no excuse for him not to fight elite fighters. Now if Mosley beats Floyd, and Cotto fights him that's a different story than if he fought him coming off a loss.

williams isnt a big a fight as mosley fight, but cotto-williams at 154lbs would be a good fight with alot of intrest. If cotto does go back to 147lbs, who is there? berto, maybe bradley

If he manages to beat Foreman, than a fight with Berto would be a good choice for both. Berto could get on the big scene with the win. It'd be a good career-ending win for Cotto.

If Floyd beats Mosley. I wouldn't mind seeing Mosley vs Cotto 2 at 154
