Valero
If Malignaggi beats Khan, I'm sure they'll start mentioning him too.
I find this interesting because the only name that comes out of Floyd Mayweather's mouth, other than Shane Mosley, is Manny Pacquiao. Floyd brings up Pac in every interview, every radio show, every TV appearance. If you didn't know any better, you'd think Floyd wanted Pac more than a big payday.
So I ask you this Boxing Scene, how is Floyd scared when he is the one focused on Pac and always calling him out?
Floyd knows the guilt hes caused. he is very concerned on hoe the public views this. This is why he cant stop. Its called a guilty conscience and he knows the biggest pay day of his LIFE is not bending to his ignorance, and doesnt need him. Meanwhile Team Pac is looking for entertaining yet big money fights. Floyd has no place to go!
Pac has a ton of options because his fans don't care who he fights as longs as he throws punches. Floyd can fight a bunch of dudes trust me, but outside of a Williams or Pavlik, the fans aren't going to have any of it.
Great post.
Pac fans dont care who Pac fights. Valero? Give me a break. They are doing back flips over that.

We sure don't care because we know at the end of the day Pac is fighting the best fighters in boxing. He has consistently done that, and we have never had to worry about a cherry picked opponent or him fighting a bum.
Second of all.....no way in hell Floyd fights Pavlik, and also I highly doubt he fights Williams. Truth be told, Manny will step in the ring with those guys b4 Floyd, which is all you need to know about the two.

David Diaz wasn't cherry picked? David Diaz wasn't a bum?
By the way, that's Pac's entire resume at 135, one of his championship divisions. David Diaz.

He fought Erik Morales after he lost to Raheem.
Why didn't he fight Raheem?
He just fought Clottey after he lost to Cotto.
And I like Manny, don't get it twisted. But some of the same stuff ya'll bash May for doing, Manny has done before and he gets a free pass. Let's all just call a spade a spade fam.
OSIRIS, a ******* masquerading as a boxing fan, of all the members on this forum your comments imo, are the most **** filled statements I have read.
I love all these dudes with their colorful usernames, colorful avatars, colorful signatures, and dozens of ribbons and gifts that they bought for themselves.
It's like the Boxing Scene e-penis. Let's see how colorful I can make my profile.
If he would have fought Raheem instead of facing Morales, you guys would have a field day claiming he duck Morales instead of avenging his loss.
But to answer your question....there was an agreement to a rematch before the EMM vs Raheem fight was signed. Also Pac had just recently moved to 130 and was moving up weight fast. His team felt 135 was too big for him (at the time) and wouldn't even rematch Morales there.
What other WW were avialable when the negotiaions fell threw. Shane and Berto was signed and ready to fight weeks later, Tony was suspended, He just beat Cotto, Judah was bull****ting with his career, and Quintana was at 154. I mean who else was available?

you like Manny? I can't tell nor do I believe you. If you put your hate aside, you would clearly see why those moves were made and why they made sense at the time. Just like Floyd with Baldomir. It made sense in every aspect for him to fight Baldy over Tony, so I never knock him for that move.
