Calzaghe would have had to go there and knock him out, which he probably would have done, but no one can blame him for not taking that fight. Especially after robin reid went over there and got warned when he landed punches on ottke. Absolute joke of a comment
yet you want roy jones to go over to germany and fight darius when he got knocked out and the ref dq'd his opponent for hitting him? hi hypocrite! fact is he didn't want any part of ottke. he even ducked glen johnson and antwon echols. fought everyone i think not.

what if froch could get a strange split decision win over hopkins by hitting nothing but air. hey calzaghe did it why can't froch. what if froch got a chance to fight roy jones he would knock him over in under 2 rounds. all time great legacy secured!

I was hoping this was true as Froch is tool, unfortunately it's bull****e.
Calzaghe was interviewed on Radio Wales about his help for heroes dinner. He was asked about this upcoming fight and said he has not even spoken to Kessler since he retired from boxing, so did not know what the outcome would be.
Oh well, another 5 pages of bull****e based on a false rumour( I think we all know now where this 'rumour' originated, from Froch's camp for publicity).

Calzaghe is right. He hasn't spoken to Kessler. He has spoken to Kessler's advisor Simon Lundt.

Out of the three barely recognizable names on that list, only one was in his prime if RJJ fought them at that time

Even with Calzaghe's retirement, the domestic rivalry with Froch has continued. Most thought it would end when Calzaghe retired early last year. [Click Here To Read More]
