If the same Kessler that showed up against Ward is back, Froch is getting ko'ed. Froch doesn't have the skills and physical assets that Ward has to be able to rough him up. No movement (to get out and get in), no foot work, no defense, no head movement, slow as hell, an offense begging to get countered,... His best chance, as you said, would be to rough Kessler up, but doing so, he's so wide open I think Kessler will be able to counter him. Kessler's best moments against Calzaghe came when he countered a happy-trigger Joe.

I believe Kessler has a good chin. He was taking punishment against Ward, and at no moment he appeared hurt or stunned (not that I've seen for sure). In fact, the only time I've seen him hurt was by a punch to the stomach by Calzaghe.

I agree with this .....Kessler showed a vulnerable side that plays right into Froch's way of working!!

At least Joe fought the top guys at SMW. Much more than Roy Jones did.

Kessler should ask Jermaine Taylor how to beat Froch for 11 and a half rounds. Then I'll instruct him for the last 30 seconds, simply dance around the ring and take a knee to run the clock down instead of getting TKO'd.

Ha ha yeah funny! You fail to recognise the rest of the post. His resume is extremely solid, his super-middlweight reign is no worse than hopkins middlweight reign. You not respecting his record tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge of this sport

That's right. Who wouldn't have wanted to see the phantom beat?

Still Ottke pales compared to this lineup of fighters missing on Jones resumé:

                    Nunn
                    Benn
                    Eubank
                    Collins
                    Barkley
                    Cordoba
                    Littles
                    Van Horn
                    Liles
                    Nardiello
                    Close
                    Rocchigianni
                    Nicotra

But at least Jones got the pazman....

It's silly fights with the likes of Peter Manfredo Jr which really have a negative affect of Joe's record.
