Two top Mexicans, four top Puerto Ricans hmmmm, interesting
Dude, come on, you know those rankings are bull****. Ray Robinson, who's considered by EVERYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT BOXING as the greatest pound for pound fighter ever, is #2 in his division, and Marvin Hagler is #1. Hagler was good, but he was NOWHERE NEAR Robinson's level. Not many fighters are.
I think you're probably doing this to piss people off, but I am not sure.
You little boricua *****..147 wasnt even Chavez ideal weight and he still would have easily beaten Cheato Triniwrap there!! BoxRec rates Vinny Paz ahead of Roy Jones!! You are even dumber than I thought!! Your ***** fighter is a coward!! How humiliated were you when the PR flag was thrown on the ground and Tito bitched out.. How about when Winky made him cry and run back to PR..
I have to disagree, not because I am a Trinidad fan, but because I think that 147 was Trinidad's ideal weight and Chávez was almost shot by the time he moved to welter. Trinidad was a beast at 147 and actually relied more on boxing(something he forgot as he started to get more Ko's) and his reach advantage over Chávez was enough to give Julio a hard time. I think Trinidad would have won a close decision.

The Meldrick Taylor or Chavez at 147 both would have boxed circles around Trinidad!! What could Tito have done to either one of them to beat them.. Taylor would have made him look silly and Chavez would have brutalized him!!

He might be best Pound for Pounder, but Hagler lived and breathed his Middleweight divsion, either way you want to look at it, all those #1 fighters including Trinidad deserve top ten status in their weight divsions.

Trinidad was way stronger than DLH at 147 and look what Oscar did to Chávez. The fight would have been different because Oscar used fast combinations, something that was not Trinidad's bread & butter. However, I think Trinidad would have put pressure on Chávez who was out of his ideal division and had lost some of his reflexes by the mid 90's. From 1993 to 1995, I think Chávez had the edge. 1996 and on, Trinidad had matured and Chávez was already a warrior of 1000 battles. Still, a great "what if" fight.
In many of the recent interviews made to Trinidad Sr. he states that after viewing the replay of the fight he thinks that the trunks wear by Winky were illegal, he states that the trunk belt line was to big and thick...And they used it as a form to block Trinidad body punches...
Can trunks be illegal? What’s your opinion on Trinidad Sr. claim? Just an excuse or a valid point?
excuses, excuses, excuses. Why after every profile fight, does the loser or someone from his camp cry foul? ****.

Its a lack of character..like father , like son.. Where do you think Tito learned to be a coward.. If he was raised by a real man would he have reired after losing both fights out of shame?

Did you read my "What Could Have" of Trinidad and Chávez? Any reactions?
