prime chavez would beat a prime tito in my opinion. it would be a great fight and i think it would come down to heart and come on who has more heart and determination than chavez, just ask meldrick

Yes..You talk about what Oscar did to Chavez.. The Chavez that fought DLH at 147 was six years removed from his fight at 147 against Taylor.. DLH was a better welterweight than Tito also!! Tito would have beaten the 1996 Chavez at 147.. But he would have never beat the 1990 Chavez at 147 that fought Taylor!! Chavez was relentless and he had skill.. He would have broken Tito down and he would have done it for twelve rounds.. Imagine if DLH had stamina aginst Tito.. he would have won every round instead of just 8 of them.. Chavez wouldnt have that problem.. Also Meldrick Taylor would have probably pitched a shutout aginst Tito.. If not easily winning a UD anyway

That was my initial post. A close decision win for Trinidad but not guaranteed. Nice argumentative conversation. Much better than bashing ourselves.

He might be best Pound for Pounder, but Hagler lived and breathed his Middleweight divsion, either way you want to look at it, all those #1 fighters including Trinidad deserve top ten status in their weight divsions.

If Oscar made Chavez quit in four at 33 years of age (same as Trinidad now I think), Trinidad would had KO'd him in one round less or more, if you look at their records, they've fought some pf the same people.

It sounds strange but it could be. Remember that Robinson also was an accomplished welterweight, so if you consider that he was a multi-division champion and see his overall accomplishments, this could give him a higher P4P status and being the best in one division in particular is not a given. Hagler was not multi-division, but he is perhaps the most dominant middleweight ever.

How to you come to that conclusion? At 33 he might have fallen off a bit but he was straight owned in that fight, and quit, before that fightv he had only one loss, I think in his prime, which was like only two or three years back, Oscar and Trinidad might of KO'd him late or UD'd him like Whitaker, check the Signature.
