Biggie was no lyrical master. He had awesome flow, yes, but his lyrical content was either 99 percent written for him or ****ty. How many times did Biggie have to use some of his songs as crutches in his "freestyles." Canibus had tremendous talent. However, he was never had a mainstream name or rap style, so that was pretty much his downfall. The mainsteam crowd didn't like to listen to his complex scientific lyrics, so when they heard him, they crossed him out. When he battled LL, Canibus won that battle, but the mainstream fans wouldn't acknowledge that since LL was a bigger name and more popular.

Eminem is on his own level!! He is a lyrical genius, a modern day Chaucer!! Eminem beat down Cannibus.. and as good as Cannibus was that should tell you how great Marshall Mathers is!!
