    Just got Jones' dvd

I must say that this dvd kicks some major ass! There are some clips from fights that I had not seen, and the best of all is that I just paid 9 bucks for it. It's a great buy. Funny that I used to hate Roy and lately I have noticed that I am becoming a fan.

My favorite fighter will still be Félix Trinidad, but I must admit that Roy Jones Jr. is the best fighter of his generation hands down.

I never understood why people hated Roy, but whatever. I want to get the DVD, it looks good.

I really wanted to reply to say, I don't like Trinidad, but I'll give him credit for doing the best he could with the amount of talent he had. I don't see him as a very technically skilled fighter, I see him as very one-dimensional, but he did a great job, so I have to give him props for that.

a lot of great fighters gain appreciation when they no longer fight, just like in rap when a rapper dies ala tupac and biggie

Anyone who does not appreciate the fighting ability, and dominant nature of roy jones jr...is simply a hater. Most are are Darius Michaelsveski fans...and that says it all.

Biggie and Tupac were great but I have no doubt in my mind that in a rap battle..a white boy Eminem would chew them up and spit them out!! Eminem is a lyrical genius to which there is no other

I never criticized Roy's skills or like him because he is retired. It's because I noticed that he became more humble after the fights with Tarver. Same thing with Judah. He became way more humble after the loss to Tszyu.

I've gotta get that. I bet there's some beautiful footage on there from his long career of kickin ass.

Eminem has some tremendous skill. He is one of my favorite rappers ever. Too bad that he has that rivalry with another of my favorites, Everlast.

I went to two Best Buys in Ny and they didnt have it.. Guess I have to order on line.. One of my fav. knockdowns of his is at MSG against Merqui Sosa.. Merqui was crowded Roy and attacking him and Roy landed a bomb on his temple and dropped him.. While this happened Lampley about blew a nut and yelled " RIGHT HAND FLASH AND DOWN GOES SOSA!
