Jones got the IBF from Reggie Johnson, in one of the most one-sided fights I've ever seen. He whitewashed him. Reggie Johnson was a LEGITIMATE competitor. He was 39-5 at the time of fighting Jones. Johnson held that belt for a year and a half before Jones took it.

He got the IBO when fighting Harding, who is 1-1 with Tarver, and lost to Johnson. Those, along with Jones, are his only three losses in his pro career.

He took titles from Gonzalez, who later went on to beat DM.

He KOed Glen Kelly, an opponent who was 28-0 at the time, and only lost twice more after that defeat.

He TKOed Woods before moving to heavyweight.

Did Roy Jones beat any of the other champions at Lt Heavyweight to get his titles? Answer: NO. Michalczewski had the WBO and the WBA and IBF from beating Virgil Hill. MIchalczewski was stripped of the WBA and IBF and the titles were awarded to Jones in eliminator bouts. And Jones got the WBC title from Graciano Rochigiani getting stripped by the WBC. the WBC stripped Rochigiani for no reason whatsoever and handed is his WBC title off to Jones in an elimantor. Rochigiani sued the WBC and was awareded 25$ million in damages. Roy Jones is the biggest paper champion in the history of boxing. He got all the major titles without defeating a single champion for those belts. Roy Jones was not the real champion. That is just a plain fact. He never beat Michael Nunn. He never beat Graciano Rochigaini for the WBC. He never beat Michalczewski for the WBA and IBF. He got all his titles from sanctioning organizations stripping hte true champs. And then Jones avoided the true champs like a plauge. He not only would not face Michalczewski. He avoided Michael Nunn and Graciano Rochigiani liketh plauge as well. "bought" the dvd and loved it, the commentary is by some dude who says the exact same things that the HBO guys say, he just talks over it, they blur out some logos and stuff which is irritating, but other then that you see jones at his best, he was a monster at the lower weights and there is no doubt about that, KO power and that speed??? wow.
