It seems like thats there fan base and it really hasn't picked up much momentum. Also, boxing is cheap to partake in and will always be the worlds sport. It's like soccer v football. Soccer will always be number 1 due to the fact it is cheap as hell.
i agree. my friends and i used to get really hyped for some fights, and now it seems like the hype is over and only hardcore fans are still talking about it. i love both sports, and i am a bigger fan of boxing. i like to see good fights and right now i feel the UFC is in limbo and stikeforce and other companies are trying hard to compete for numbers. i still like to debate about mma vs boxing because it keeps both sports in my interest, but some fans take it too far (like saying boxing will not exsist in the future). i dont share the same attitue towards mma, so i never understood the hatred there. still, boxing has some really good match-ups this year, as well as mma, and im sure ill pay to watch both. for the record, i think it's harder for someone training in mma to switch to boxing, than the other way around, but i've been in the gym with guys training for mma, and the workouts are no jokes. much respect to anyone training to fight.

yeah , he's right but i still personally dont like MMA as much because of the ground stuff. I just like a science in boxing more than MMA. The MMA guys have to be way more skilled in more areas to suceed and even then there is always a style that will beat another meaning not many guys are undefeated. That makes it more exciting from a matchup standpoint but i still like boxing more, its got history that MMA will never achieve.
