I haven't made a pick for this fight but if Shane winning by decision is definitely a possibility; especially against a fighter like Floyd who takes a while to get going.

Exactly. In other words, anything is possible.

Jab and workrate. Two key factors going into this bout. If Shane can keep up both, he'll have a great chance to win.
Indeed the workrate is important and this is what I hold high in Pacmans favour if/when they do meet, whether he can keep this up and be effective in rounds 6+ as in the first 6 is up for discussion.

Floyd was cautious against Marquez so we can say that Floyd will be even more cautious to Mosley and won't take risks.
      Thank you.....

I think that Mayweather's lunging LEFT HOOKS and his countering RIGHT CROSS are formidable with his quick feet. Thus I really see MOSLEY should be UNPREDICTABLE in his cadence (rhythm) and again CUTTING LEFT or RIGHT of Mayweather.

THat is really very difficult considering that Mayweather is like a squirrel in steroids in his quickness. He is a counter-puncher that is quick to ANY movement that his opponent does.

Therefore MOSLEY's style must be changed on the fly...be able to hit on the fly and land them.

MAYWEATHER's weakness, if there is any, is the LEFT HOOK/LEFT UPPERCUT/LEFT CROSS thrown during a transitional movement....but not from a set position wherein Mayweather can just telephatically see everything.

But I would also look for MOSLEY's thrusting LEAD RIGHT CROSS to offset the timing.

MOSLEY should refrain from too much 1-2 combo OR...or...use it to set up a different combo and do a 2-1 or a 2-3 (RIGHT CROSS LEAD and LEFT HOOK/UPPERCUT.

The key is not to give Mayweather a pattern of movement that is predictable and hitting him with the LEFT. (Judah should have capitalized early on the fight but didn't have the power to do it)

If he can keep it up for 4-5 rounds, he's got the battle half won. Putting Floyd behind on the cards would force him to come forward, thereby opening further opportunities for Shane to play counterpuncher.

That is one way......a la' Pacquiao vs Clottey.

But, but, but...Mosley doesn't have that attribute (stamina) inorder to pull it. He is a relatively "bigger" man and asking a 39 year old fighter to do that is the unthinkable.

I think that Mosley just have to be:

          • Smarter (more efficient)
          • more unpredictable

Those two meaning not from the typical ORTHODOX set and firing 1-2 combos. That's not enough to beat Mayweather. (please see my last two postings in this very thread).

Unless Mosley starts stepping on Floyd 's shoes I give Mosley no chance of winning this fight. If He can't beat Forrest a lesser skilled slick fighter and Wright who doesn't posses greater defense. Then no way can he beat Floyd.
