I think Floyd's comments proves his point. If J. Clottey is a filipino, even the president will cheer him up, but in their country his just another boxer.

Is it me or everyone that's bitching over the outcome is a casual boxing fan or is sour bc they paid 50+ for this? Was it that surprising that "The Machine" Pacquiao couldn't break through the Africans defense? How many times have we seen a J. Clottey fight and not been overwhelmed with KO's?! Margarito couldn't hurt Clottey and was probably packing steel! Oh, but the almighty PAQUIAO couldn't KO him so now we are "disowning" Clottey?! Clottey has always been who he is: A DEFENSE FIRST FIGHTER and it will take divine intervention to change his style. We saw what happened when Mayweather Sr. trained Hatton v Pacman, the same old Hatton sucking blows.Comment

Totally agree.I agree with Clottey that Nelson should of wished him luck, but that would not of changed the outcome in any way. In my opinion, Not even JesusChrist could of trained Clottey correctly because you will always have to depend on Clottey to follow the game Plan. I think we all heard DeJesus begging Clottey to throw more punches and all Clottey was doing was Shaking His Head No or would look in the other Direction. Nelson was politely telling Clottey he needs to Look in the Mirror and improve his game because he embarrased a Nation. And That Chit was embarrasing... and Boring. Clottey just cemented himself a Gatekeeper for the rest of his Career, just like Malignaggi and Cintron, but i actually have him a notch lower than those guys. Learn to take Criticism from All Time Greats like Nelson instead of Bitching about whether he wished you Good Luck, you Moron. I understand the rudeness in not wishing someone luck, but Nelson gave the Public some of the Greatest fights of NonStop Punching in the history of the SPort, so he may be frustrated in watching his CountryMen do the exact opposite. Be carefull in what you say to All Time Legends like Nelson.. YOu may lose the few Fans you still have Left....Comment

if clottey doesn't like criticism then he shouldn't put himself out there like that.
clottey fought the wrong game plan and fought at the wrong range, he shouldn't been in on the inside muscling pacquiao around, trying to bully him, instead he played right into pacquiao's strengths and didn't get anything off.
i liked seeing pacquiao keep clottey from setting and planting his feet, that was something clottey never tried to nullify.Comment

stfu! Clottey is a coward. He is a public figure. Us boxing fans pay his fkin bills! We have a right to call a spade a spade he is a coward and so are all you pac fans! Yes Yes that was a bit ignorant...but i get upset at how pac fans blatantly deny facts as long as it makes their little hero look good.Comment

He and most boxers are no coward but he just stand there and rarely attacked. You dont want to be criticized yet you did an awful performanceComment

What I wrote yesterday:
Maybe Josh should tell the media how he stiffed his old trainer out of cash, placed the blame on him for the Cotto loss and then had the nerve the nerve to post a "Should I fire my Trainer" status on Facebook before unceremoniously canning him. Maybe Clottey ought to remember that this trainer of his was a long-time friend of Azumah's and also his chief sparring partner for many years. Why not talk about that, Josh?
Honestly, I'm so tired of these guys who play the humble, holier than thou role but are full of ****.Comment
