Sure Mayweather does countering, but he still throws once punch at a time after he counters. So what happens after that once punch, He will receive 2-3 more punches.
Mayweather's body and hands are fragile, he doesn't have the power to really hurt any body except for flash knockdowns.
Being in there with the likes of Cotto and Clottey there is no way Pacquiao will fear Mayweather's power, which equates to bringing in more and more pressure.
The Pacquiao you saw against Clottey wasn't even at his highest level. He was just cruising to the victory.

idk if anyone said this already but think about how clottey shells up and probably doesnt have the best vision if he has any vision at all. Floyd has better movement and his vision is wide open, all hes got is the one hand up. I think that will help him a lot too with combatting pacquiaos style.

Exactly, the only thing we learnt from the Clottey - Pac fight is that Pac can keep up the pace the whole 12 rounds.

When it comes down to Pacquiao vs Mayweather its not a case of one fighter will definately beat the other. Its a case of how much Mayweather is willing to fight, throw combos and utilize his offence instead of just relying on his defence and counter potshots like he usually does.

Because if he does just potshot all night, pacquiao will win due to pure workrate (provided his chin stands up to floyds counters). Sure Pacquiao is going to take a hell of a lot of counters and also miss alot of shots, but he will pure outwork floyd in the punch department and that will win him the fight.
