The reason Clottey did not have swelling or much damage is due to his great defense, not because of his alien District 9 skin, christ.

Winky Wright seldom had much damage after a fight besides swelling due to his defense.

Bernard Hopkins looks the same at the end of round 12 as he did at the start of round 1. Because of his defense.

James Toney was the same way, he rarely took much direct damage. Because of his defense, not because he has Predator skin.

All three of those guys have very different defensive styles too, as a point of interest.

There is no difference in the skin of Hopkins, Toney, Wright, or Clottey. The difference is in their ability to avoid punches. It has nothing to do with what country Clottey came from.

Olympic style DRUG-TESTING has NOTHING to do with PROFESSIONAL BOXING. Mayweather in my opinion, pulled a MIKE TYSON to a certain extent. When MIKE agreed to the rematch with HOLYFIELD, He'd already made up his mind that he would cheat if he didn't KNOCK him out early. What a cowardly move. He KNEW HOLYFIELD was tougher and superior to him. Mayweather KNOWS he could possibly lose to MANNY and therefore came up with this BIZZAR demand. This style testing has nothing to do with boxing and has never been done before. Mabe MAYWEATHER is a little worried that MANNY can beat him. That's what I think. It's not just about money to MANNY. For those of you who say if he's clean then why won't he agree to the test? I'll answer that for MANNY. It's simple, this is a business and if the N.S.A.C. wanted this style testing in boxing, then MANNY would comply with it. MAYWEATHER is a fighter, not a JUDGE, JURY, or COMMISION. This fight will NEVER HAPPEN. You heard it from me! However, if they were to ever meet inside the ring, it would be anybody's fight. MANNY has the skills and workrate to beat MAYWEATHER. I have watched both fighters fight from the beginning of their careers in the ring. I don't have to go by any rumor when I have seen and analyzed the fights for myself. Its easy to say what Mosley is going to do against Mayweather but the fact still remains that Shane is a brawler first and a boxer secondary. Mosley looks his best when someone is standing there exchanging shots with him. Shane has always used this strategy and it didn't matter who he fought. Winky Wright may have been the naturally bigger man but let's be real, he didn't fight like a bigger man he just boxed the socks off of Mosley so where was the adjusting you talked about. Cotto got tired of exchanging shots with Mosley and began to box and I ask you yet again where was Shane's adjusting you keep talking about. Mosley relies on power punching his opponents into submission because that's what he's good at. Mayweather is the one who adjust his style to the fighter at hand. He feels you out for a couple of rounds and then he does what he needs to to beat you. Do you think for a second that come May 1st, Mayweather is going to lie down or put on a stellar performance when he knows there is a potential 50 million dollar payday ahead. Money is an excellent driver when that's what you are in the business for.

Slip you are spot on in your assessment of Mosley. He does not adjust during a match. I've stated this to be the huge difference maker in the upcoming fight with Floyd. Floyd makes adjustments and can do so without corner help. Shane can't even WITH corner help. He fights in one gear, and one gear only weither he is winning or losing, and that gear is the adopted Mexican fighting style of come forward and ****. He's got heart Shane does but you need more than heart when you are in the ring. You need to be able to think 1st and use your heart when it's time to dig deep. Not use your heart to run into set traps.

Well said my dude. That's why they call what Mosley does "Powerboxing" because it's all about overpowering his opponent. That is Shane's boxing DNA and the reason he has 5 losses going on 6. PBF is the very best at what he does and will go down as the smartest fighter in boxing history. You can't be into the hype. You have to know when to box and when to fight. The sweet science is all about hitting while not being hit.

i dont think you can assume they are ALL greedy and money hungry. i mean once you have 50 mill in the bank i think some get comfortable. others, like floyd who have a history of IRS problems need the money.
if shane is so money hungry why didnt he take a few fights this last year instead of holding out on the elite fights? sure an elite fight would make more money, but a few fights for a few mill is more than nothing and for a money hungry greedy person as you assumed, this is what one would do...right?
