Have you lost respect for Clottey as a fighter?

Not at all. I'm definitely disappointed in him though, because he knew he couldn't fight his usual fight and win. He just don't bring a plan B if things don't go his way. But he did the best he could and never resigned himself to just running or clinching to try to survive. I still respect him, but I don't wanna see him get any more big fights until he beats another good fighter.

Standing covered up is not doing everything to win. You dont get points for that.

Good god no. Clottey has earnt the respect,and only an ******* would denigrate the guy for the first loss in a long,decent career that wasnt in any doubt. Nobody has ever looked good against or had an easy night against Clottey..until last night.

Sure,Clottey could have thrown more,but its highly unlikely he would have finished the fight if he did.

he took 1,200 plus punches vs pac & not a scratch on him & he was standing. much respect. Its not as if he was pretending & fooling everybody he was mike tyson. He is what he is & it showed. The only people who are surprised are the ones who dont follow boxing & clottey's career.

Yes I have as much respect for clottey as I do a heavy bag at the boxing gym lol naw but seriously the in bold is real talk you can't expect a fighter to just become a different fighter all of a sudden.

To be honest yes i have lost some respect for him. I know thats his style and all that but c'mon you gotta take chances! Your fighting against arguably the best fighter in the world, why not take chances? Just leave it all in the ring. I would have rather him be KO'D trying to win, versus not trying at all. I expected more from him.
