LOL at the people who thought this fight would be competitive...

Berto is fighting the Collazos and Urangos of the world. He has to avoid a fight with mosley so that he can fight a quintana who has been out for two years let a win over a journeyman. I don't get what you mean. Clottey tried to win, he always throws about 30 punches a round, and his style is based off off blocking and then countering, and thats exactly what he did, but he would have to counter after 10 punches. He also Hit Pacquiao whenever he wanted. All that hinders him is his workrate.
I don't know why anyone is surprised. I said Clottey would be in all the rounds, do his wok, but simply get outworked, and thats all that happened.Comment

i actually gave clottey 2 or 3 of the early rounds.....I think the fight was more competitive then people are saying. The last time I checked fights are scored on things like clean, effective punching and defense. Unless of course your Jim Lampley and are only concerned about the total number of punches thrown whether they land or not. Don't get me wrong, even though Pacquiao must have missed 90% of his punches he did land enough to outwork him Clottey most of the rounds between clean and partially blocked punches while Clottey was landing less, but more meaningful shots. I just don't think it was a total domination when you look past the flair of Pacquiao's 10 punch combinations which often had little effect.
ppl looked at me like i was crazy.Comment

Clottey doesn't fight at a fast pace, he doesn't have the stamina to do so.He's a bum and a disgrace, shouldn't even be allow to fight on ESPN. There is absolutely no excuse for the type of performance he put on last night. There were times where Pac would shell up like him and stand there and what did your boy do? he stayed on that ****** shell, he's a moron.
Thats his style and he won't be changing it.Comment

The thing is, he had the correct gameplan, Pac did that is.I think the fight was more competitive then people are saying. And those combinations didn't have little effect, the effected the entire fight. They're the reason Clottey didn't throw and the reason he got outworked. I get what you mean, though. A lot of his punches didn't land, but if he threw less, Clottey would have thrown more, and the fight would have been a lot closer.Comment

I mean just for the sake aof argument my dude....now don't get nothing twisted, THIS IS FOR JUST THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT......lets say Clottey had a rehydration clause in the paperwork that NOONE was allowed to mention......Clottey didnt look as big as usually does last night......or lets just say Clottey was paid to lose and the fix was in and he was instructed not to make the fight close......just for the sake of argument now.....Bro you mean to tell me he couldn't throw AT the very least 50-60 shots per round?? isn't that the Welterweight standard? he's on the biggest fight of his life, he always talks the same **** about "I'm ready, I can fight anyone" bull**** with that accent and when he's there that's the kind of performance he gives?? I'm damn pissed I shelled $55 for this ****** PPV.

Its funny you mention this. I thought the same thing of Cotto and people thought I was crazy. Clottey also looked smaller than usual last night.I mean just for the sake aof argument my dude....now don't get nothing twisted, THIS IS FOR JUST THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT......lets say Clottey had a rehydration clause in the paperwork that NOONE was allowed to mention......Clottey didnt look as big as usually does last night......or lets just say Clottey was paid to lose and the fix was in and he was instructed not to make the fight close......just for the sake of argument now.....
Either that or Manny's just bigger than I keep expecting.
Clottey definitely didn't look as yoked out as I've seen him before.
If there was a rehydration agreement that he signed, he deserved to lose.
