  • There is no doubt that Clottey didn't show up and it's the reason our sport suffers.

Last night was one of the most disgusting big time "fights" I have ever witnessed in my life. Here we have a huge event that was promoted for the first time to cater to the casual fan. 50,000 people came to see one of the most exciting fighters at his craft. Instead, we got a dud of a fight because one guy was able to come to the fight and sit in a shell and throw such little output, that even the most exciting fighter couldn't make it entertaining.

People ***ing wonder why some people have switched to MMA or why I see one of the complaints of boxing being boring, this is the reason why! Clottey doesn't deserve a dollar for this fight. I hate the guy more than anyone ever in this sport because he slapped it in the face last night, spit right in every fan that has tried to get people excited about boxing and then he does this.

And for anyone to defend Clottey and what he did, piss on you too. If you were there to win and you knew you had lost every round, by round 8, you would throw more and give yourself a chance. He never tried, not one ***ing round did he give himself a chance to win! I'm still fuming pissed from what Clottey did. He set us back once again because of his greed for taking this fight. If you aren't showing up to win then don't show up at all, Grand***ot Clottey!

It's his whole style. He hides behind his guard and only throws when he knows he can hit his opponent. If he feels like he's in any danger he lets off and goes back into his shell. There's no in between.

if clottey opened up he would have gotten KTFO.. He knew it too. he was too scared to let his hands go. He was intimidated plain and simple.

I don't care what anyone says, when you're in the biggest fight of your life you need to step it up. He refused to.

If you're not going to rise to the occasion when fighting the best P4P fighter in the world, then you may as well not fight him.

you don't go to fight just so you don't get knocked down thats bull****, in other sport such as football you can maybe go for a draw or whatever but when your in a ring you should go for it, clottey did not

he should have fought like abraham and thrown much more then he did

Clottey's offense is based on counter punching. He didn't know how to deal with combos and a guy that was too fast to get off on regularly.

The only thing he could have done was be reckless and that's not in his style.

He couldn't counter when he didn't know where and when the next shot was coming from because Pac did the up and down very well last night amd turned him quite a bit.

            That speed killed last night.

I think Clottey's plan was to land some big shots by countering. It was just too hard to get off in between Pac's unorthodox shots.

Let's put it this way. Clottey's chance of ever becoming something big has just ended in a BIG way. Do you think anyone will pay to see him again when they know what he'll do? Hell no. He should consider that his last worthy paycheck and last thoughts of ever becoming something great out of Ghana. He blew that **** BIG TIME.

Why is anyone surprised? Since this fight we've discussed how Clottey has all of the skills and none of the intangibles. He has a fear of success. Pacquiao did what he had to do and believe me, like Mayweather against Marquez, he didn't show his whole hand tonight. He toyed with him. But anyone who has seen Clottey in a big fight should've expected this.
