Floyd Mayweather probably has the biggest smile on his face right now.

I was more surprised Pacquiao didn't lose steam later in the fight as I thought he would and Clottey would nail him but Clottey was punished and I wouldn't be surprised if his ribs weren't cracked
Clottey is not and has never been a big puncher. I don't know where that theory comes from. Mayweather's punches are much sharper than Clottey's.

True...If you look at Floyd and Clottey's common opponent in Corrales,Floyd stopped Diego when he was undefeated and knocked him down 5+ times...Clottey knocked him down 2 times I believe...and it was a much worst version of Corrales...

They are sharper and have more pinpoint accuracy and come in combos. Clottey is not in the same league as PBF. He is just bigger. Also when clottey keeps his shield very high he can't even see the openings that pac has left open to counter.

Diego Corrales was seen as this big monster when he was undefeated at 130 and yet PBF took him apart and KD like 5 times. People laugh at Baldomir but argentine fighters are among the most durable fighters out there and also awkward.

CLottey just wanted to collect a paycheck and say i lasted the full distance without getting knockdown.

ppl dnt realize that there is a huge difference between clottey and floyd. clottey had to swich between offence and defense and he was slow at it. floyd's defense is his offense, he never rly has to switch between the two, it happens almost instantly. clottey is no indication of how either fighter would do against the other. stop the bull and relax.

                Styles Make Fights........

Anyone who has boxing IQ will tell you this fight wont be easy for any of the combatants.....But unlike Clottley, Floyd will be able to match foot speed and manuver Pac clockwise, squaring him up, making him hittable. (Pac wont be able to tee off on Floyd like he did on CLot) Keep in mind that Pac will also be able to tag Floyd though making this fight dangerous......

You really cnt compare Clot to FLoyd though and infer the outcome of a fight with Pac.....

I think PBF is thinking no way im fighting Pac without a blood test.

Lets say Pac's easy 2 hit, PBF will try and land 1 punch at a time and Pac will throw 7. Pac throws way 2 many punches for PBF 2 block them all. I think the way 2 beat Pac is a 1 punch kayo and dont think PBF can do that.

Volume punching kills a counter puncher.

Nobody in the WW division would have a virtuoso performance against Clottey. He defends, defends, but doesn't get off anything. Pacquiao has never been a fighter who hits and doesn't get hit, but for every 2 punches you throw, he's got 5-6 coming at you. For someone like Floyd who doesn't throw as much and relies heavily on defense and counter punching, he'd have to step out of his realm and actually throw at a higher output to be effective against Pacquiao.

I'm not one of these guys who's been saying Pac's gonna kill Floyd, but truthfully, Pacquiao's style today could be a big problem for Floyd. The Mosley fight for Floyd is going to be very telling as far as his risk taking.

Skilled counter punchers chop workrate in half.
