Too bad Arum backed out of the deal with Edwin Valero, that would have been a good fight. Its also too bad Zab Judah, and the rest of the world at 140, for that matter, is afraid of Timmy. Its not cool that he has to move up in weight just to get himself on TV.

As good as 147 is, 140 is even brighter. I don't understand why Tim would move up like this, bad move imo. Now that he is with HBO he could of had a tuneup at 140 and been in line to fight one of the bigger names, but now he has put himself into the 147, where it probably doesn't suit him well. Also, I can't believe SHO let him walk.

As long as this is a one off for Bradley at 147, then I'm cool with it.

He's got more work to do at 140.

That's rubbish - he could fight Alexander, who is willing to fight him.

Alexander wants to fight him. Judah isn't even rated at 140, but Alexander is by far the best opponent for Bradley and is keen to fight him.

Devon is gonna fight judah it's done. That's why you seen Judah came with that weak interview challenge. So bradley goes and fight's a real test and not a tune up.The kid he is goin to be fighting is a best and is tall and in another weightclass..This will be a test. They are letting the devon fight build steam.

                  You gotta be joking Burner.

Bradley just wants to test the waters at 147, why the hell would he fight Paul Williams who has recently been campaigning at 160 ?

Paul can probably still make 147 but a Bradley - Williams fight would be a joke. Bradley would have no business being in the ring with a fighter that much bigger than him.

What a ****** move by Bradley.

We have no idea how he'll handle pressure from a bigger, stronger man. He aint a puncher at 140, at 147 he's not gonna have anything to keep this guy off of him.

Very high risk low reward fight for Bradley. ****** move, his promoter should be canned.

I wanna know how much HBO put up for this fight. They probably seriously overpaid to get Bradley over from Showtime, a la Dawson/Tarver 2.

Bradley, unable to find an opponent willing to face him at 140, is moving up to fight Abregu at 147, but plans to go back to junior welterweight afterwards. The fight will likely take place at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California.

I can see Bradley having some propositions from Manny or Floyd for a WW clash if he beat that unbeaten WW challenger convincingly.
