BoxingScene.com has learned that WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11KOs) will be making his HBO debut on June 26 against welterweight Luis Carlos Abregu (29-0, 23KOs). Bradley, unable to find an opponent willing to face him at 140, is moving up to fight Abregu at 147, but plans to go back to junior welterweight afterwards. The fight will likely take place at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California.

Should be a good little fight abregu is not a bad fighter I think seen him on shobox or Friday night fights but he wasn't that bad got knocked down but got up to win

Who in the HELL has this kid ever fought for u to believe he'd beat Clottey, Collazo and Berto whom are all TOP 5 WW!!..

He gets dropped by some dude wit less than 50% KO rate gets up and all of a sudden now has the heart of warrior!?..

I'm not saying Abregu can't or won't amount to ****..I'm saying the boy has been in some very deep **** with some no name ass journeymen too many times to claim he'd beat 3 of the top 5 WW's..

I don't know if you're over rating him to make Bradley look a
amazing..cuz regardless it's a good fight for him..but in the end..it's a tune up..nothing more..

None of those fighter's I named are top five except clottey berto is 6or7 and collazo is 7or8.When I seen the kid fight richard gutierrez I was impressed.Berto and collazo would have never fought that guy he has crazy punching power but is not a great boxer.I'm tell you the truth berto is hype untill he prove's more to me so him and abregu are in the same boat imho.Collazo know's how to lose don't know about him winning(Oh and i had him winning the berto fight).Same goes for clottey hey I agree the kid is young and got some proving to do but I have to tip my hat for T.B.goin in there with him.

Bradley's hoping to get a Money fight at 147.. But he picked the wrong guy, He'll become a stepping stone for Abregu.

The only reason Bradley is taking such a big risk & fighting at WW against Abregu is becasue he might land a Money fight down the line.

Pac is the best against straight ahead lefthanded dominant fighters.

LOL Good one.But did Moses not put the beat's on collazo?He did not even win one rd imho.The kid's work rate is high remind me again how collazo lost to mosley?The kid is young and has some learning to do.I believe T.B. will beat him but the bradley has ball's for fighting him.That kid is no tune up.

I sen two people say hes a tune up. I dont see this as a tune up fight. He has some pop.

Thats because they dont know who he is. If those people would watch lesser known fighters then they would know he's a fighter from Argentina. fighters from Argentina always come to fight. Also I remember seeing him against David Estrada on versus or FNF(cant remember which one) and he by far is no tune up. He beat Estrada, and Estrada has been in with Shane, Kermit, Berto, and Ishe, so that there would let them know he aint no punk if hegot past Estrada. This will be a good fight for Bradley, it definetly will be a test for him. Both of their styles match up nicely IMHO.

He is getting move along slow but is dangerous.Berto was almost ko by collazo not known for his punching power and berto square's up to much.collazo and clottey don't know how to win.This kid does.T.B. should win on point's tho and if he does I have to say wow.

Ok somebody is getting carryed away with the pwill and mayweather.I guess you trying to put all these fighter's in the same category?Bottom line is the kid has pop he is dangerous.I think T.b. will win but he has ball's for fighting this guy who is young and hungry just like he is.OH and also has heart.Which I feel clottey and collazo lack's.I stand by what I said and if any of those three fighter's ever fight we will bet smart ass.
