that's a LIE that you yourself just made up. cotto made mention of maywether when he was actually signed to fight gomez and after he beat gomez. by that time arum had already discussed with cotto that he would be fighting margarito in a rico vs mexico type fight, and that bout was just a lead up to that. cotto KNEW all of this ahead of time, hints why it makes him look utterly crazy.

cotto called out mayweather after gomez. KNOWING that margo is set for him next.
