theres no reason to be afraid of cotto.. what idiots such as yourself don't understand is that boxing is a BIG BIG business. theres a lot of politics which hold certain fights from happening. such as a fat pig arum stealing out of your pockets and when you threatened to LEAVE him he laughs. so you LEAVE. morons such as yourself don't even understand the business side of the sport DUMMY. all you know is i want FIGHT now!

lets finally get to cotto. cotto is NOTHING to fear. mayweather is WAY faster, WAY more stamina, harder chin, better defense. the only advantage cotto has over mayweather is power, cotto has major trouble with guys that don't sit right in front of him. mayweather would move on him and wack him all night.

get real and smell the coffee beans kid.
Blah, blah blah, long ass excuses as to why he is always ducking everyone.

If Floyd is great and could beat Cotto so easily then why not make some money off of his own world wide fan base and Cotto's from PR?

At the end of the day no one cares why he chose not to fight him or the business side of boxing.....that is not my problem or my concern all I care about is the fights on TV not why someone is totally unwilling to fight opponents ppl want to see them fight

After the Bruseles fight, Cotto didn't want any part of Floyd at 140. Although Floyd should have fought Cotto instead of retiring in 2008. Oh well. Just one of those that should have happened but never did.

Mayweather would likely have beaten Cotto at 140, but it was Floyd who said Cotto was too green and not ready.

fool. YES it would have been a perfect time for mayweather to face cotto after the gomez fight. that's pretty much the only time at 147.

but the cotto gomez fight was on the under card of "Margarito cintron 2" not to keep cotto busy but because BOB ARUM was leading it up to the cotto margo clash. arum had already told cotto that he was to fight margo after the gomez fight and this is just anticipation up in till that bout. cotto knew this AHEAD of time. therefore him calling out mayweather after the gomez fight is a B*TCH move & is totally pointless when his next fight is already d@mn near signed off. bob arum wanted that fight because everything would stay in house. ARUM owns cotto.

WAKE THE HELL UP. no one would DREAM of ducking cotto.

you fools live in lala ba land.

this is your problem. you will never understand how much of a pig business men like arum are and how they keep the fights you wanna see from happening. you are clueless in this department.

You are not even worthy. You don't know anything.
                    1. Margarito vs Cintron was on the undercard of Cotto vs Gomez
                    2. Cotto wanted the fight after Cotto beat Mosley.
                    3.
05-05-2007 Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather

11-10 -2007 Shane Mosley vs Miguel Cotto
12-08 -2007 Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather
04-12 -2008 Alfonso Gomez vs Miguel Cotto
                    06-07-2008 Floyd Mayweather retired

Do you see a big window from 12-08-2007 when Mayweather beat Hatton until 04-12-2008.
So there is atleast 2 months to make the fight.
