his natural walk around weight for the last 3-4 years is around 147-150. what's happening now is that he's fighting in his walk around weight. with the day before the fight weigh in, fighters now are NOT fighting in their walk around weight & are taking advantage of the 24 rehydration period.

what you have now is middleweights fighting at welterweight, superfeatherweights fighting as low as 115 & 118 etc, etc. The fact that pac is fighting at welterweight is quite exceptional. If he is training pac is at the most a 140 pounder. He could actually still be fighting at 135 but all the money guys are at 140 & up.

Pac weighing in at 138 vs hatton at 140, & 142 vs oscar at 147 should have told you that much.

Oh no ! you figured out that I am using an assumed name on a website to give an opinion.
      What are we all doing?....duh

You people that protect Pac act as if you lay next to him or under him at night. You dont know jack, so stop it your embarressing yourself.

My opinion on this guy is simply that I dont know if he is using but he sure does look like he is.

No attack or protection of a guy I only watch fight and dont sleep with.

That statement makes no sense either. How many new fighters start out great?

i think Floyd's point was that you don't go through that many divisions and go from 130 to 147 in the space of 3 years and increase speed, power and punch resistance all at the same time......you will find most boxers actually peak in their late twenties or early to mid thirties , but alot of the time it is more mental than physical, they know how to prepare better, when to push in camp and when to take the foot off the accelerator and they get smarter in the ring and more relaxed.....i don't think Hopkins got physically better with age, but he sure got alot smarter........

who's protecting who? we're just educating you alt...you obviously think that PEDS are the only way to improve...what's happening in this thread is; we're citing FACTUAL examples on why he improved...i know it might be hard to comprehend but just sit back and read it over and over again....something might sink in....alt

Pac by age 19 was a lineal champ, by age 21 he was a 2 division champ that spanded over 4 weight-classes, by age 23 he was a 3 divisonal champ that spanded over 5 weight-classes and a 2 division lineal champ. With a win over a prime sure fire HOF'er who is a borderline ATG. How is that ordinary? He accomplished all that by the age of 23. There are borderline HOF fighters who didn't accomplish that in there whole career. Yet Pac did that by the age of 23. And, yet he is ordinary?
