If Pac is so fond of sanctioning rules why ignore them and fight for 147 belt at 145?

      meaning that Cotto, per the WBO's handbook, could weigh

      UP TO. not in between.

      147lbs

      per their own handbook on regulations

      Mannys side demanded that

      Cotto weigh no more than 145lbs in direct violation of page 6 of the WBO's regulations
      Cotto's UP TO 147lb title be on the line
      You gotta a problem with catch weights? Do you know how many significant fights in history were catch weights.

          Blood testing has never been a norm nor has it ever been a precedent and the fact that it was called by Mayweather in such a su****ious timing so as to "clean the sport of boxing" is an indirect jab towards Pacquiao's clean record.

          Floyd Sr. was known to have spewed some serious allegations and Jr. relented and wanting to know. The main culprit is the Mayweather's PR and "bed-side mannerism" in going about this that it came out really as an arrogant demand in their side.
          sorry but catchweights for title fights is not the norm no matter how much of a fan of Manny you are

            let me ask you this

            have you ever been critical of Manny?

              FLOYD POOPWEATHERS last fight was at catchweight of 144.

              Its funny how only *****s are dissing PACQUIAO for asking COTTO to cut only 1 more pound that he weighted in his last fight.

                  All the time. I thought he would lose against. DLH. I thought Hatton was a 50/50. I thought Cotto might win. I lambasted him for how he was living and at one point hoped he would lose to learn a lesson. I think Clottey has a much better shot due to his beard than Cotto. Manny don't do good with fighters with the ability to back him up. Cotto should have gone crazy when he had pac on the ropes.
