But, it was Nacho who took awhile to finally agree to rematch Pac. And, then after Pac. they felt they were robbed and wanted 50-50 split and never came off that demand ever again. Even after Pac became a huge star by beating Oscar. They still wanted 50-50. And, when Floyd-Pac talks felt apart. JMM said he would take Floyd place and fight Pac in March if Pac did random blood test and a 50-50 split. Even though JMM was coming off a shut out lost to Floyd... Pac never ducked JMM ever. And, JMM didn't either. But, JMM trainer/manager Nacho overpriced himself. Nacho is a great but horrible manager.

And, that is why there is/was no third fight...
After Marquez lost to Floyd I thought a 50/50 was crazy. But Immediately after the rematch 50/50 was a fair deal but once Pac went on his historic run Marquez lost all bargaining power and it was ridiculous to even ask for an even split.

Pacquiao offered an immediate rematch to Marquez which i believe Marquez would have won decisively if they had agreed but team Marquez declined because they wanted 50/50. instead he fights Chris John in indonesia for 30k and loses. removing all demand for a pacquiao rematch until pacquiao knocked out morales.
Even his own father admit that dela hoya should have won.

Manny gets knocked out and never avenges that lost. Gets knocked out again does not avenge that lost. Has a draw with Agapito Sanchez, never fights him again. Draws with Marquez fights him four years later wins a controversial decision (I thought he won it) then avoids him like the plague. He lost to Erik Morales and I have to give him credit for signing to rematch him. Morales losing to Raheem was not his fault.

But people talk about this warrior attitude and in the ring he does fight hard and does have a lot of heart (that's why I love seeing him fight and he is one of my favorites). But isn't it a little curious that this warrior seems a bit reluctant to correct his missteps in the ring? And is the aforementioned Floyd supposed to be the scared one but yet he wasnt afraid to jump right back into the ring with the only man who possibly beat him?

Please share thoughts and please refrain from the *****/******* nonsense. I'm asking a question.
I believe his two KO's were because of weight drain. Immediately after those fights he came up in weight even jumping two divisions in one. The Marquez rematch didn't materialize earlier because as we all now know, Marquez has a pretty bad Manager in Don Nacho. He had a chance of fighting Pac again for the 3rd time, but he thinks he's the A side. He had a chance of KOing Khan, but he feels he's being used. So there you go.

So we're going to discredit the knockout losses because of weight drain? Did you see those fights? Seems to me that he just caught with good shots and didnt take them well.

I don't see what was wrong with a 50/50 split immediately after the second fight. They fought evenly.

I saw Shane lose fights to Vernon and Winky and went right back at them because he wanted to set the recored straight.

No, Pac the warrior should have made the fight happen. Go look at the post fight interview he wanted nothing to do with Marquez. He was bailed out by Marquez who made outrageous demands after Pacman fought Diaz. Fact remains that Manny didn't make his people make the fight with Marquez to end controversy.

Floyd immediately fought Castillo in a rematch but he's supposed to be a reluctant fighter!

Arum felt Pacquiao beat Marquez twice already so there was nothing left to prove.

Marquez went to the philippines and followed Pacquiao around with a contract to give him a rematch. Pacquiao got fed up eventually and during an interview looked at Marquez and said "I will sign that contract right now under 1 condition. that you admit that you lost"

Marquez shut up and gave up the quest thereafter and simply enjoyed the rest of his vacation in the philippines.

alright lets get this clear, anyone who says Floyd-DLH was a controversial fight isn't not only unfit to judge a boxing match, but unfit to talk about the sport entirely. lets just get that straight, anyways good points by the TS. I would've liked to see Pac-Sanchez II.....Sanchez was givin him the business
