Yall should really stop hatin on Vitaly, he is just like anyone else ,trying to land that one really big fight before he hangs em up. Not to mention that he wants to avenge an ugly loss. I can't say I blame him one bit. If he is fortunate enoug to lure Lennox back for that fight, more power to him.

THE TRUTH

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission that night and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

Vitali intimidated the **** out of the scared Lewis after the fight and made him look like a *****. All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and boo'd Lewis after the fight.

Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Whatever you ***in ***ggot. I like vitali but your a bitter buttsore sucker. Lewis won fair and square so stop whining. Nothing was controversial about that stop only it should have been stopped earlier. That ****t was dangerous to let someone continue with such a huge gash. To let you all know, that fight between Lewis and Vitali should have went to the score cards anyhow,, Lewis headbutted on numerous occasions during the fight and of course opened up the cuts worse with his punches,, it did look like Vitali was going to finish him in another round or two,,, Lewis was a chump,,, just ask Oliver McCall!!!!!!!!

Lewis wasn't "nice enough to give K the chance" etc. He used it as an opportunity to hold up the promoters for several millions more to fight Klitschko, whom he had always referred to in a very derogatory manner, both Klitschkos in fact.

Have you forgotten "one Klitschko for breakfast, the other one for lunch"......

And the uppercuts were smothered, did absolutely no damage to Klitschko who held Lewis in a close clinch and walked him back into the ropes, actually the corner, and then the bell went and K sat down, no harm done at all.

And after the fight during the merchant interview you could actually see that he was still shaking from the narrow escape, and even when pressed he wouldn't kive K any credit.

Look at it again.

You should clean up your language a bit, we are all boxing enthusiasts, have our own individual opinions, and don't deserve to be villified for them.

Your criticism would be justified if it were not for the fact that Lennox talks **** too.

-He has picked almost every Vitali opponent to beat Vitali since their fight when he's on HBO. Vicariously living through other HW's in hopes that they'll beat him.

-His offering to train Haye for a Vitali fight.

-His never ending "had the fight continued i would have knocked him out" " had the fight continued...."

If he's so confident then he should have rematched him like he promised.

In all the pre fight interviews he said he was going to fight a couple more fights, Jones jr, Tyson rematch, etc no retirement talk, yet after the Vitali fight..................

Exactly right. You know it gets tiresome trying to untwist the prejudiced ramblings of these posters who actually know the facts, but give in to their bitter and biased feelings.
