Where's the denial from GBP? It's much more than hearsay when respected journalists like Dan Rafael say that sources within GBP have told him that, and when GBP don't deny it. Furthermore, there is no other credible reason why Maidana would suddenly drop his demand that the WBA enforce his mandatory, the day after he had a meeting with GBP.

The point isn't relevance, the point is risk.

      So....its still hearsay then?

The point is that Malignaggi is one of the top 140lbers in the world and Zab.....isnt.

No, it's fact. If you weren't such a nuthugger you would realise that.

Nor was Pac, when Hatton fought him. So what???? He would be far more of a threat to Khan's chin than Malignaggi, and therefore Khan would deserve more respect for fighting him than for fighting Malignaggi, at this stage.

The Malignaggi fight would have been okay if it had been on the basis that his next fight after that would be against the Maidana-Cayo winner (like Haye's and Valuev's arrangement with Ruiz). But he won't fight Maidana for at least another year, and another three fights, even though he's his first meaningful mandatory - and that is absolutely sick, and craven, and corrupt. I'm astonished that there are nuthuggers willing to defend his behaviour. True boxing fans could not defend this.

He should beat Judah easily, then unification with Bradleay, can't wait. Go Devon!

I guess Judah is a good fight in-between some unifications matches. It will do good business. Judah is a dead man walking, but he has had the chance to still get paydays, thanks to his name. Alexander should not have much problem dispatching him.

As for the weight, I don't see a guy coming into a welter fight at 143-144 having trouble to make 140. I thought all along that Judah should have been fighting at 140. After Spinks, he hasn't had a lot of success at welter.

I say Alexander stops Judah on cuts.

It doesnt matter if Judah is "relevant" or not IMHO. Zab is a fast and fairly slick, hard hitting boxer, regardless how well he fair's after the 5th round he will be pretty stiff oposition wise until then, after the 5th I have questions about Zab as we haven't seen him at JWW in quite some time. But Zab is just as slick as Paulie and hits ALOT harder; therefore he is the tougher test for the young champion named Devon.

but he'll anybody in that 140 class except Bradley. i don't think he gets pasted Zab. If you wanna still consider Manny Pacquiao a 140 figher than he'll get smash by Manny

I probably hit harder than Malignaggi, doesnt mean im a tougher test. Zab is done as a top level fighter, simple as that.
