What makes the second fight so much more important than the first, especially when you lose to a guy far below your caliber in the first?

Lewis sued Tyson/Don King to try to force them to fight him. Lennox was Tysons mando. Instead they paid him $4m settlement to step aside. Its pretty common knowledge.
Yes you're right, Lennox accidently turned his face into a bloody pulp by repeatedly punching it. He was actually trying to give Vitali a makeover.
