there has been countless fighters who have moved up in weight throughout boxing history, even more weight classes & more pounds covered than pacquiao. for example georges carpentier went from flyweight to heavyweight or dingaan thobela started from featherweight all the way to light heavyweight.

But, Jimmy McClarnin did the same thing. McClarnin fougth the Flyweight champ in Pancho Villa went al the way to WW and in 6 rounds KO arguably a top 10 ATG in Benny Leonard. Leonard was far greater than Cotto. Then McClarnin in 1 round KO'd HOF'er Young Corbett III, Corbet greater than Hatton. Are you su****ious of McClarnin also?

And, he only KO'd Hatton with one shot. But, Hatton was a KO ready to happen the way he comes in...

You also might be forgetting that Pac was stopping guys at the lower weights as well. Pac was getting outboxed by the slick Thai fighter in Sasakul before scoring a 1 punch KO at 112... In 3 weeks noticed he beat the IBF champ arguably the best worst the #2 fighter at 122 at the time In Ledwaba. He destroyed abosuletly destroyed a prime, arguably ATG, at the time somehwere in the top 5 P4P fighters in Barrera...
