I get where you coming from it was ****ed up but we know JMM wasnt pulling out. If Pac and Floyd was tHEE guys in boxing Cotto and JMM would have told them to "F" off.

But, both cases are two different stories... JMM had training camp, work his ass off, waste not one cancelation but he could of wasted two cancelation if he would of told Floyd to "F" off after Floyd came overweight. That would of one been after his hard work from him and his team to not get no money is not fair to him to cancel a day before the fight...

But, Cotto could of went a whole different route, it is two different cases. It is not the same... that what happen with Floyd and JMM... It would of been the same and bush league in Manny Part if he Cotto came in at 145 and Pac came in at 146. That would of been bull****...

I disagree on him being a small JMW. He might be short but hes not small. He will fill out at that weight IMO. I'll wait to see reports from his camp.

He's small in comparison to the other JMWs that are competing in that division.

I guarantee after this fight win or lose Cotto will be back at WW. It's just the best option he can get right now that's somewhat high profile (Foreman being undefeated also helps sell the fight a bit as well as it being at Satan's home, Yankee Stadium).

I think the whole stance in this thread is that its bull**** for Manny to make Cotto the Champion bend over to a demand but Floyd isnt allowed to ask him anything. Cotto didnt do Manny like that.

Cotto was fine at 145lbs but that's besides the point. I think that particular contract stipulation was brought up to highlight the hypocrisy of a Pacquiao defender slamming Mayweather for "making the rules" or attempting to supercede the commission, when in fact Pacquiao is probably the biggest diva around right now.

Arum wanted Cotto-Pac more then anything. It was his big Top Rank money fight. He never gave a crap about Cotto he threw him under the bus and defended Margarito then he feeds Cotto to a huge crafty slick fighter in his firdt fight at 154 to use him as a stepping stone.

My thing is not with Floyd and Pac. I have felt for the longest that they will fight later in the year... I think it had more to do with the time period then anything else. I just don't think they could of set up such a huge event in such a short period of time...

Plus I get that both Floyd and Pac are divas. I have said the same thing about Pac that he comes with crazy demands...

My point is that everybody makes a big deal with this mannyweight catchweight king nonsense... And, try to discredit Pac win over Cotto because it was at 145 when Cotto was fine with it. Cotto wont be 147 Pounds on fight night. He was coming in at 160 sometimes for 147. He will be short but he wont be small hes a stocky big dude. Hes short just like Porter is for the weight.
