But, don't sit here and tell me that Cotto was not fine when he clearly said he was. Don't compare it to Oscar when Oscar hadn't fought at WW in years. And, when Cotto weight-in at 146 in his previous fight.
I'm not sitting here saying that, look at the first sentence in the post you quoted.

However I will say that I believe it was unfair of Pacquiao and Arum to bully Cotto into putting his welterweight title on the line for a catchweight fight. Yes, it's happened before, but it's still out of order and in my view a far bigger demand than extra drug testing.

He shouldve fought straight up at 147 like a man. Floyd didnt move up making champs fight at catch weights.
How many weight-classes has Floyd moved up? Tell me when Pac moved up to 5 weight-classes how many catchweight fights did he have?

I am done talking about this topic with you. Where is Eaner at?

I agree with that 100%. They didnt give Oscar or Clottey a catch weight and they wanted to go to 154 after the Cotto fight. So the only reason for that weight was to make it unfair to Cotto.

Man I remember articles with them asking Marg and Mosley to be 143 Pounds like cmon man.

          Diamond belt unveiled for Pacquiao-Cotto

World Boxing Council officially unveiled its Diamond Belt which will be presented to the winner of the Nov. 14 face-off between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto.

The unveiling happened Wednesday at the Corona auditorium in Mexico which was led by WBC president Jose Sulaiman who announced that the belt will be for high profile catch weight bouts.

The belt’s components include 18-karat gold plates, 861 diamonds, six rubies, 221 emeralds and 180 Swarovzki crystals all mounted on an Italian Ferrari leather and displays the pictures of both Pacquiao and Cotto as well as the Puerto Rican and Philippine flags.

The idea of presenting a diamond belt came about when Cotto, though agreeing to battle Pacquiao at a catch weight of 145 lb, initially refused to stake his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight belt unless the Filipino reconsiders fighting at 147.

Eventually Cotto gave in to Pacquiao’s demand of staking the WBO title in their catch weight battle. Both combatants also agreed to recognize the diamond belt after the WBC assured no sanction fees will be charged to either fighter.

Cotto wanted this fight at 147 Pounds.

He didnt want his strap on the line and rightfully so, Like he said he won his belt being allowed to weigh the limit.

So they create a belt out the blue for this fight to stick it up Cottos ass.

Pac made Cotto weigh 145. But right after they almost fought at 154. Thats bull****.

If 145 wasnt a issue Cotto would still be a WW right now.
He's not going to fight at 154 full-time. He's already expressed interest in fighting Berto possibly later in the year. The Foreman fight though is a risky fight for Cotto being he's at 154 for the 1st time, the selling point is he'll be fighting for yet another world title in a different weight class.

Also, Cotto's not gonna weigh at the Jr MW limit (154lbs). He'll without question be a small Jr MW (which is why I see this as a risk for Cotto even though Foreman's not a heavy hitter).

I didn't say you did... I was just talking to everybody with that one post...

Cotto is a grown ass man... Cotto didn't have to sign to fight... You might not like but it has happen before... However, nobody has gotten as much flak for it as Pac. Nobody...

Floyd has ZERO catchweight doing his moving up process. You acting like its nothing wrong with that ****.

If this is your stance then you should feel the same way about Marquez with Floyd. They both did it for cash. It was unfair to both of them but they accepted it because Pac and Floyd are CAREER high paydays.

How many weight-classes has Floyd moved up? 5... When Pac moved up 5 weight-classes how many catch-weights did Pac have?

How many lbs has Floyd moved from 130-154 what is that 24lbs? When Pac moved up 24lbs from his original weight-class how many catchweight fights did he have?

I disagree on him being a small JMW. He might be short but hes not small. He will fill out at that weight IMO. I'll wait to see reports from his camp.

My stance was always like that however I felt it was bush for Floyd not to make weight. That was my problem with the fight...
