have to consider that;
1) Boxing isn;t a big sport there, surprised if they even put it on TV with all the other cricket and hockey tournies
2)Culture, diet. Most Indians, or Hindus shall I say are strict vegetarians which isnt ideal for Boxer...
you can imagine on an indian cricket forus, some comes up with this thread..

to be honest probably not....
its a shame that boxing is not hugely popular in India... those in this post that would like to see India invest more in boxers to produce more boxers and make the sport more international I totally agree... just like many other countries...
