Please watch this, and hear Roger Mayweather saying Oscar came close to defeating Floyd. The Kamazareck score was a joke, but Oscar definitely won at least 4 rounds (as Floyd Jr has already ackowledged in the post-fight).

If this fight is for real, Cayote should beat the Mouthy Runner

..After watching the Jr/JMM fight, I really doubt this Looney tuned GBP featured presentation. A showman Mouthy Runner and Cayote Sugar Shane. Another Dancing with Star in an WWF environment? I guess we will find out.
I definitely won't buy this fight but I will watch it at my Mouthy Runner fanatic's house just to annoy them.

Sugar should win this match-up regardless of his age. He had MORE tougher fight compared to Jr. He maybe not as fast as Jr..but he can neutralize it by using his height and reach advantage..jabjabjab .
How Sugar will use his strength and when is the key to Jr's fall. At 39, it will be hard to boogie with Jr. but he can definitely Tango with the kid. When I say Tango for readers who doesn't understand, it means you have to lead the way from start to finish without exerting too much effort and only using it when needed.
Jr's style is widely used by heavyweight boxers and the reason they use this is that they save their energy and unleash it when they see an opening and the other reason too is that they have problems with stamina.
Now the key to beat Jr is actually to mock him and let him come forward instead of going affter him
Jr. will make anybody punches himself out because he know he has a vaunted defense .

Now this style will not workout if Shane will uses the W.Klitchko boxing. SUGAR AND NAZEM, ARE YOU READING THIS? HE FIGHTS LIKE A HEAVY WEIGHT...SO APPLY THE KLITCHKO DOCTRINE..LET THE LITTLE GUY GO AFTER THE BIG GUY.

i gotta agree. floyd wants his opponents to get mad and waste all their energy early so he can come on late. a younger mosley and this wouldn't matter, but an old mosley needs to pace himself.

Good post.I feel this is part of the plan which is why Moses is saying he plans to box with May.I think another part is too really push May and use smart pressure to make money May very very uncomfortable.

Despite Richardson’s podium comments, neither he nor Mosley want fans to believe that the May 1 welterweight clash is a simple puncher-vs.-boxer matchup.

“I punch so well that people don’t realize that I’m a master boxer,” Mosley told a small group of boxing writers after the press conference. “I’d love to win by knockout, so if I catch him with a good shot and he wobbles, we’ll see a knockout, but if that doesn’t happen, I’ll have to do whatever it takes to beat Floyd round by round.”

A writer asked Mosley if his body punching is one of his keys to victory.

“There’s a lot of things I can do,” Mosley answered. “I’m not going to do just one thing. I’m not just going to press him, or look for a knockout. My job is to be prepared for everything that Mayweather does that night.

“This is my chance to show people that I’m a complete boxer with skill, defense and footwork. This my chance to prove that I‘m the best welterweight in the world.”

Helping Mosley make that case on May 1 is one of the game’s best strategists.

“Richardson is already studying tapes on Mayweather,” Mosley said. “He’s up all night watching film. In the morning he’ll say ‘Let’s go watch it.’ And while we’re looking at the fight, he’ll ask me ‘Do you see what I see? Good.’ We’re watching Mayweather’s fights going back to his lightweight days. Naazim has a long history with Mayweather. He remembers watching him back in the amateurs. Floyd’s got the same basic style but it has changed over the years. As a lightweight, he was more on his toes and he was busier. As he’s become heavier he’s become more flat footed and more of a pot shotter.”

So how will Mosley exploit the style of the welterweight version of Mayweather?

Richardson obviously wasn’t going to go into specifics but he does believe that Mayweather can be exploited, although he was quick to add that it isn’t easy to do so.

“He has flaws but they’re not abundant and there isn’t a big window to take advantage of them,” Richardson said. “What I mean by that is you can’t get comfortable in any set position with Floyd. Whatever’s working in one round may not be working in the next round.”
